History contains many mysteries, stories, wars, etc., which have somehow donated a specific part in the evolution of Mankind. It may be created by a group or by an individual. One of them was a Roman gladiator SPARTACUS. Wait.....Who was Spartacus? What was his intention? Why the name Spartacus has such a power to grasp everyone's attention.
Who is Spartacus?
Spartacus was believed to be of a Thracian origin. His early years were unknown where his life events were also considered to be a myth.
But some strong sources ensure it had occurred, with evidence. He was sold as a slave in Capua. And he was trained as a gladiator along with the legions. He was murmillo. He was a slave to the Roman Empire. In 73 B.C, Spartacus led a rebellion along with 70 other slaves. They all escaped from a legion where some of them took kitchen knives and utensils, along the way they also seized some gladiatorial weapons. On their way, they also joined many slaves with them. Sooner they reach Mount Vesuvius.
What were his intentions?
Only one intention in his heart, in his mind, in his soul, Literally in everything he sought only for Freedom. Nothing much, but no justice given to his intention. In some way, Spartacus is considered as a leader of slaves.
End of the Rebellion:
At last Spartacus's army consists of lots of slaves, more than Ten thousand. They all camped in Mount Vesuvius. Where in the down of the mountain was surrounded by Marcus Licinius Crassus who was Roman General determined to suppress the Spartacus and his co. But he knows that his army can't control the Spartacus army. After a long time, the army of Spartacus were in lack of food and everything. So they all came down and they were trapped in the toe of Italy. Marcus with his eight legion armies he crucified all the slaves who joined the rebellion of Spartacus.
But the death of Spartacus was unknown. Somehow there were a lot of myths that he was died due to the injuries that occurred during the Third servile war.
Spartacus was a man who sought only freedom. We also can mention him as a warrior against oppression. How long the history is, the fame of Spartacus never be fade.
