GUPTA DYNASTY
Gupta dynasty was said to come into the scene after the declination of the northern kingdoms namely the Satavahanas and the Kushans. Then it was also a probable theory that guptas were feudatories to the former kingdoms. This dynasty marks imperial rule and evolved into a greater empire without any doubt. This dynasty also introduced feudalism, which did not prevail in the former dynasty, and also the traditional system was also considered an important factor. Guptas were Vaishnavites. They believed that God's representative is the king. Arts and Architecture were flourished in this era. Every monument stood now as an elegant matter of subject which attracts the people around the world.

SRIGUPTA was a founder of the Gupta dynasty and there was not much information about him but the history of Sri Gupta was unveiled by the inscriptions made by his grandson Chandragupta I. As per sources, Sri was an honouring name for the Gupta I, and his actual name was unknown. He was known as "Maharaja" Srigupta contributions were also unknown. Prayag (now Allahabad) was centered and from there Gupta dynasty was spread to the Indian parts. Majorly North Indian parts such as Bihar and Bengal. Gatorkajar was a successor and son of Srigupta. He was unfamiliar. After Gatorkajar, here comes Chandragupta I.

Chandragupta, I was a deep builder of the Gupta dynasty. He was married to the lichaavi princess Kumaradevi which gave strength to the Gupta dynasty. He published gold coins with his face and his wife. He was given the name "Maharajathiraja"
